The Surfing Badger
Welcome to the home of the surfing badger. The badger likes to catch waves that are nice, not too big, but not to small that it's hard work and frustrating. You'd think that badgers don't like salt water, but this one does!
I like to get out in the water about lunch time, when the sun is warm. But there are normally too many people at the beach, and the lifeguards don't like it when you know what you're are doing and ignore their flags. I guess they are just doing their jobs (with their Australian accents).
I don't know any other badgers who surf, but have seen a dog and a fox riding longboards. The dog I can understand, but the fox? Seems kinda weird to me. Didn't chat to them, seemed a bit full of it.
I recently went to Asia, and western Europe before that, so have been able to catch a few waves elsewhere. I like surf traveling, it puts a different perspective on it.
Living in Cornwall is pretty cool, and often pretty cold! The summer is lush though, and I love to see tourists enjoying themselves. I don't like it when it gets really packed though. There is no room for us locals to spread our wings, and we do pay for the place.
Anyway, I'll leave this first posting here, as I have rambled more than enough. Enjoy your surfing and your badgers. Peace :)
